Terms of Service

Effective October 10, 2026

These terms apply when you use Tableu, a tarot reading service operated by Lakefront Digital (“we”, “us”). Tableu includes the app at tarot.lakefrontdev.com, the Tableu app in ChatGPT and the Tableu API. By using Tableu, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Tableu.

1. Who can use Tableu

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tableu. If you’re under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you may use Tableu only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms for you and is responsible for any purchase. If you’re an adult, you must be able to enter into a binding contract. Keep your account details accurate and your password secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account, and you should tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

2. What a reading is, and isn’t

Tableu offers tarot readings for reflection, self-exploration and entertainment. Readings are written by AI models from the cards drawn, their positions and what you share. They can be inaccurate or incomplete, and the same cards can produce different readings.

3. Your content

“Your content” means the questions, reflections, journal entries, notes, photos and other material you submit to Tableu. You keep ownership of it. You give Lakefront Digital a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, copy and display your content only as needed to operate, secure and improve Tableu, including through our service providers, and as described in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when you delete the content or your account. It continues only for copies we keep as the Privacy Policy describes, and for content you’ve shared with others.

You may use the readings Tableu writes for you for any personal purpose. Because readings are generated by AI, other people may receive similar readings.

Share links make what you share visible to anyone who has the link. Only share what you’re comfortable making visible, and make sure you have the right to share it.

4. Acceptable use

When you use Tableu, don’t:

If you find a security vulnerability, please report it to hello@lakefrontdigital.io instead of exploiting it.

5. Plans, payments and cancellation

6. Tableu in ChatGPT and other services

When you connect Tableu in ChatGPT, you let ChatGPT use Tableu’s tools for your account. For example, it can draw readings or save a reading to your journal when you ask. You can disconnect at any time in your ChatGPT settings. OpenAI’s terms and policies apply to your use of ChatGPT. We aren’t responsible for ChatGPT or other third-party services, including Stripe’s checkout and billing pages.

7. The Tableu API

If your plan includes API access, keep your API keys secret. You’re responsible for activity that uses your keys. We may set rate limits, and we may revoke keys that are misused or exposed.

8. Our rights in Tableu

Apart from your content and material owned by others, Tableu belongs to Lakefront Digital. That includes its software, design, text and artwork. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use Tableu under these terms. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

9. Suspension and ending your account

You can stop using Tableu at any time and delete your account from your Account page. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we’re required to by law, or to protect Tableu or other people. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you first. We may change or discontinue features. If we shut Tableu down, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice when we can, so that you can export your journal. Sections 3, 8 and 10 to 15 continue to apply after your account ends.

10. Disclaimers

Tableu is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and accuracy. We don’t promise that Tableu will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any reading will be accurate or suitable for your situation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Lakefront Digital isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. This includes damages arising from decisions you make based on a reading. Our total liability for any claim relating to Tableu is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$50. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

12. Responsibility for misuse

If a third party makes a claim against us because of your breach of these terms or your misuse of Tableu, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

13. Governing law and disputes

The laws of the State of Illinois, USA, govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please email us so that we can try to resolve the problem informally within 30 days. Any dispute that can’t be resolved that way will be heard in the state or federal courts in Cook County, Illinois, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. If you live outside the US, you keep any protections that your local consumer law gives you and that can’t be waived by agreement.

14. Changes to Tableu and these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll post changes on this page with a new effective date. For significant changes, we’ll also tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Tableu after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.

15. General

These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Tableu. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a term, we haven’t waived it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
